Massachusetts man on 'Top 10 Deadbeat Dads' list arrested

A 47-year-old man identified on the Massachusetts Department of Revenue's (MDR) 'Top 10 Deadbeat Dads' list has been arrested for allegedly not paying child support for six years. He was found in Las Vegas and taken to Massachusetts on one count of abandonment of a child without support and one count of failure to comply with a support order.

Could divorce actually be prevented?

Many people in Massachusetts are facing the frustration of divorce. Today, divorce is nothing to be ashamed of, but that was not the case just a few short decades ago. Today, people have learned that sometimes, marriages just go wrong. Marriages end for reasons too numerous to mention. Some marriages end as the result of severe consequences and others amount to a mutual consent that the two individuals no longer connect as a couple. Nonetheless, most couples agree that divorce is a last resort, and thereby search for new forms of resolution before the marriage ends in dissolution.

Widow tries to void her divorce in court

Can a divorce in Massachusetts or anyplace be voided after the ex-spouse has died? That is what a Rhode Island woman is seeking from the Family Court of Newport County in a petition filed last July. She is essentially seeking to rescind a divorce she says was a fake.
